{Larry’s Ice Cream}
Larry’s Ice Cream, a staple in the Coral Springs community for 39 years, invites residents to celebrate the holiday season with a lineup of free, family-friendly events at its flagship location.
Larry’s holiday events have become a hallmark in Coral Springs, drawing crowds of over 1,000 people per event.
Patrick and Janet said each event offers meet-and-greets, free professional photos, live DJ entertainment, face painting, balloon twisting, tattoos, popcorn, cotton candy, and more—all at no charge.
“These and many other events we’ve hosted over the last six years are all about bringing the community together,” she said, adding, “Our mission is to create an environment as the heart of the community, where families gather, friends reunite, and memories are made.”
This year’s schedule promises magical experiences for all:
Saturday, December 14 – Mickey and Minnie in Holiday Attire. Community favorites Mickey and Minnie Mouse return dressed in their finest holiday outfits from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 21 – Santa’s Arrival via Firetruck. Witness Santa arriving in style, courtesy of the Coral Springs Fire Department.
Saturday, December 25 – Open on Christmas Day!
Larry’s Ice Cream has grown significantly since its Coral Springs location was established as one of the original franchise stores in 1986. Janet and Patrick, who purchased and renovated the area in 2018, have since expanded the brand to include Larry’s Ice Cream & Café in Boca Raton, Serving 48 ice cream flavors alongside a full food menu featuring burgers, wraps, sliders, and dessert crepes; Larry’s Café at Honda: Located at the Coral Springs Auto Mall, this location offers an all-day breakfast and lunch menu for over 400 employees and customers of five dealerships; and Larry’s Food Truck: Catering popular events across South Florida, from city gatherings to private celebrations.
The flagship Coral Springs store remains a community favorite. It boasts 56 ice cream flavors and a New Jersey Boardwalk-inspired dessert menu featuring funnel cake fries, beignets, fried Oreos, and more.
Inspired by the simplicity and connection of their small-town New Jersey upbringing, Patrick and Janet envisioned a space where families could create lasting memories.
“Growing up, I cherished simpler times—pizza at local spots, roller rink outings, and days spent on the boardwalk. At Larry’s, we blend the warmth of those moments with a modern, retro-inspired environment,” she shared.
In 2023, Patrick left his 30-year-long career to help Janet run the business full-time.
“I hope that even in a rapidly changing world, we can bring back the magic of the past and create a future filled with joy, togetherness, and countless cherished memories.”

- Sunday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Monday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Tuesday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Wednesday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Thursday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Friday: 12 p.m. – 11 p.m.
