Coral Springs Charter officially had four softball players sign to continue their athletic careers in college.
Sophia Bertorelli is headed to Boston College. Her historic career began when she was in eighth grade. She is 25-2 in her career and has a lifetime era of .90.
Heather Robertson is going to Florida Gulf Coast University, where she will link back up with her former teammate Kate Maston. Robertson has played on varsity since her freshman year and has hit .350 with eight home runs and 48 RBIs.
Addison Michel is signed with Boston College and is coming off a strong year. She hit .412, had 40 hits, scored 37 runs, and drove in 12.
Mia Rodriguez signed with Barry University in Miami and had three hits in six at-bats, including a triple. All four of these players will have one more year left of high school softball as the Panthers look to win their first State Championship since 2019. CSC made it to the State Semifinals last year but fell against Westminster Christian Academy. They had previously won five straight state titles from 2014-18 under coach Mark Montimurro.
