The Department of Health has partnered with the City of Coral Springs to open its first public, walk-up COVID-19 test site starting on Saturday.
This site will not only assist the state in identifying COVID-19 trends in South Florida. It will allow those in the community to access necessary testing more easily.
“Facilitating testing for the public is critical to resuming normalcy during this global pandemic,” said City Manager Frank Babinec. “Since the declaration of a public health emergency, our staff has worked to provide testing for employees, businesses, and the public. We are very pleased to be able to provide this service to our residents.”
The test site will be located at Mullins Hall inside of Mullins Park at 10150 NW 29th Street.
It will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (the site is closed on Monday, May 25 in honor of the Memorial Day Holiday). Tests are performed with logistical support from the Florida National Guard.
Residents who would like to be tested must pre-register by calling 954-412-7300.
