Here’s an excellent opportunity to safely get rid of items in your garage like paint, electronics, and fluorescent light bulbs.
Starting the weekend of July 4 & 5, the Waste Transfer Station will resume collecting certain household hazardous waste every first Saturday and Sunday of the month.
Residents may also drop-off the following items during any weekend:
- Household goods – such as couches, chairs, mattresses, tables, appliances, carpet and padding, etc.
- Yard waste – includes unbundled tree trimmings, palm fronds, tree branches, and brush.
- Cardboard – Must be flattened and empty – no styrofoam
- Recyclables: Plastic bottles & jugs, aluminum cans, paper.
Located at the end of Wiles Road at NW 126 Avenue, the Waste Transfer Station is open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 to 5 p.m. to residents ONLY. Residents are required two forms of I.D. showing a Coral Springs address are required (driver license, plus bill, registration, etc.).
Residents must wear a face-covering inside of the Waste Transfer Station.
