To encourage engagement for those under 18 on the importance of democracy and their civic responsibilities, the City of Coral Springs held a “The Importance of Voting” poster contest.
Hosted by the city’s Customer Involved Government Committee, the virtual poster contest for Coral Springs students in grades K-12, has officially selected the winners.
A first, second, and third-place winner was selected for each grade division, and their poster submissions are featured on the City of Coral Springs website. The winning posters will be shared on their social media platforms throughout early voting. Additionally, the Coral Springs Museum of Art will display the winning posters.
Winners will receive a certificate of recognition during a future city commission meeting. Recipients are:
