Coral Springs Police determined the bomb threat on Monday morning called into two schools were unfounded after they took measures to rule out any danger.
According to Coral Springs Police Officer Chris Swinson, Imagine Charter School and Coral Park Elementary received bomb threats at approximately 9 a.m. Children and faculty were evacuated from each school, and Westview Drive between Riverside Drive and University Drive were shut down. Schools were searched, however, nothing was found at either school.
Once the schools were cleared, parents were given the option of either picking up their children or having them stay at the school.
