The Chabad Jewish Center of Southwest Coral Springs is preparing for the high holidays with a series of events during the Jewish New Year.
Rosh Hashanah is the start of the Jewish year — observed through prayer, shofar blasts, and celebration.
The holiday begins with Rosh Hashanah services on Monday, September 6 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a holiday dinner at 7:30 p.m. The cost for dinner is $36 per adult and $25 per child. Make a reservation here.
During the high holidays, there will be no charge for open seating, however, there is a fee for reserved seats. A complete schedule of Rosh Hashanah services can be found here.
Social distancing will be practiced within the synagogue, and seats are spaced out accordingly. Masks are also strongly recommended.
In addition, the Chabad Jewish Center promises to have different programs running simultaneously to the main service — a teen program and two programs for children.
Outdoor service options are also available for everyone to hear the sound of the shofar.
Chabad Jewish Center is located at 11325 West Atlantic Blvd in Coral Springs
