A Coral Springs Publix was robbed at gunpoint Monday morning, the culprit making off with an unknown amount of cash, police said.
The robbery happened around 7:30 a.m. when the unidentified robber entered the Publix at 11600 W. Sample Rd., held employees at gunpoint in a store office, and made off with the money, said Coral Springs Police Officer Chris Swinson, a department spokesman.
Investigators were reviewing surveillance footage, and no arrests had been made as of late morning.
