The City of Coral Springs continues to take action against rising rents outpacing residents’ incomes and has reallocated more than $1 million of federal funding through community development block grant funds.
Eligible Coral Springs renters must have experienced an increase of more than 5% from April 2020 until now and are eligible to receive a maximum grant of $3,600 for up to six months to assist with the difference in the rental increase.Â
All financial assistance will be paid directly to the landlord.
To be eligible, the applicant(s) must rent in Coral Springs and have documented evidence of an annual lease agreement that has increased more than 5% in one leasing period. View other eligibility requirements.
To apply, print the application (single-sided) in color from the city’s website. Complete the application in blue or black ink and provide copies of all required documentation. Residents who cannot print the application can obtain one at city hall.
Once the application is complete, residents must submit it by appointment only.
