After over 45 years of cutting-edge service, Vincent’s Champ of Barbers of Coral Springs will soon be throwing in the towel.
“I’m grateful for all the loyal, kind, wonderful clients that have walked through that door for so many years. I’ve had the opportunity to serve over three generations of customers. The memories I’ll carry forever.” said barber Gina Massa-Labbato.
Located at 2420 N University Dr., founder Vincent Campo immigrated to the United States from Italy in 1979, intending to pursue the American dream, and was triumphant in serving the community for decades. He later sold the shop to and continued to work with Eirik Ingerheim, who contributed to its success.
In 1981, Bill Fyfe moved to Coral Springs and was looking for a barbershop similar to the one he went to in New Jersey.
“I was lucky to find Vincent’s. The shop had a hometown feel,” he said.
After going for 41 years, he shared it was very sad to see another Coral Springs institution rolling up the carpet.
“I guess it’s true nothing lasts forever, especially a good thing.”
Like many businesses over the last few years, COVID hit Vincent’s hard, and with rising inflation, it was time for the team to move on to new opportunities.
The final day for the shop is noon on Saturday, September 9, 2022.
Barbers Andrew, Chris, and Gina said they were honored to have served the community and wish to continue at new barbershop destinations like Mainstreet Cuts and can be contacted at (954) 227-1933 for future bookings.
