The Coral Springs Charter girls and J.P. Taravella boys bowling teams picked up wins in the Broward County Athletic Association Championship Thursday afternoon.
The Panthers team features Alexis Diaz, Faith Tucker, Audrey Gold, Jazz Chung, Mia Rodriguez, Gianna Candio, Giovanna Gurgel, Danielle Lucas and Sofia Diaz. Head Coach Andy Groothius says his team has continued to become a strong unit throughout the season.
“Our captain, Alexis Diaz, is doing an amazing job, always staying positive and providing a great model for our younger players to follow,” said Head Coach Andy Groothius. “The girls are incredibly dedicated, and I see them going a very long way for a very long time.”
The Trojans winning team consists of Jeremy Smith, Bryce Collins, Anthony Mountcastle, Zachary Kimbrell, Cesar Medina, Giovanni Pianelli, Rey Maharaj, and Evan Kallen.
