A popular Coral Springs restaurant has been ordered to close after a routine inspection discovered multiple violations, including signs of a live roach infestation.
On November 20, Red Ginger Asian Bistro, located at 9710 West Sample Road, was ordered to shut down after a recent health inspection by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation revealed multiple violations, including live roach activity, mold in the ice machine, and unsanitary conditions on the kitchen floor.
According to the inspection report, inspectors found evidence of live roach activity under the kitchen’s wok station on the cook line and the floor behind the soup station.
An additional violation was also noted regarding the interior of the ice machine/bin, where an accumulation of black/green mold-like substance was found.
The inspection also revealed that the kitchen floor had accumulated food debris under and between tables and equipment, indicating a need for proper cleaning and maintenance practices.
Inspectors issued the closure order, which stays in effect until all violations are addressed and corrected. A follow-up inspection will be conducted to ensure compliance with health and safety standards before the restaurant is allowed to resume operations.
