Coral Springs is bringing holiday cheer to the community with a series of festive events throughout December.
Residents are invited to enjoy dazzling light displays, seasonal activities, and community spirit, starting with the Light Up the Lawn event on Saturday, December 7, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at City Hall Lawn, at 9500 West Sample Road.
The evening begins with the City Hall Tree Lighting Ceremony, marking the official start of the holiday season. Activities include train rides sponsored by Florida Power and Light (exclusively for Coral Springs residents, with registration details to be announced), a Snow Zone, snack vendors, and a free stuffed animal giveaway courtesy of the Coral Springs Police Department. Guests can also enjoy complimentary cookies, sponsored by Xfinity, while supplies last.
This family-friendly event welcomes leashed dogs, but attendees are reminded to clean up after their pets. For everyone’s safety and comfort, lawn chairs, food trucks, and an ice-skating rink will not be part of the festivities.

Holiday cheer continues with additional events, including the Holiday Parade on December 11 at 7 p.m. and the Holiday Market on December 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. Parking is free at the City Hall garage for all events.
