Coral Glades star golfer Carter Brooks officially announced his commitment to attend Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth.
“It feels great being committed; almost feels like a weight is lifted off my shoulders, Brooks said. “Palm Beach State was a great place when I visited. The coach is amazing, and I love the atmosphere there.”
Brooks only began the sport right before high school but has risen into one of the top players in the state. He was named PGA South Florida Player of the Year. Brooks led the division with three eagles and 44 birdies while helping his varsity team win their first District Championship in school history.
Brooks capped his year off this past season with a 74 at Regionals. He hopes to continue to improve his ball striking and knows he will have to work hard to achieve that next year.
