A Coral Springs man is facing multiple charges, including cyberstalking and filing false reports, after allegedly waging a relentless harassment campaign against a Coral Springs Police officer and his family.
Craig Rogers, 59, of Coral Springs, was arrested on April 17 following an investigation by the Coral Springs Police Department into allegations that Rogers engaged in a years-long harassment campaign of his neighbor, who has been a member of the department since 2006.
CSPD records show Rogers is accused of maliciously harassing the officer, his fiancée, and their teenage daughter in what police describe as a sustained and escalating pattern of abuse.
According to a detailed police report, Rogers’s conduct began shortly after the victims moved into the adjacent unit in October 2023 and has continued through April 2025. The harassment allegedly included blaring loud music and television at all hours, physically banging on shared walls and ceilings, and filing false reports with law enforcement and child protective services.
Records show that between February 15, 2024, and April 12, 2025, CSPD officers responded to 31 calls for service related to the dispute between the two households. Rogers was cited six times for noise violations.
Investigators detailed in the arrest report that when officers responded to Rogers’s complaints against the victims, they found no supporting evidence. In contrast, the victims consistently provided video proof of the disturbances originating from Rogers’s unit.
The harassment escalated to physical disturbances and false claims of domestic violence. On at least two occasions, Rogers reported fictitious domestic disputes to police, prompting officers to respond to the victims’ home. In both incidents, the officers found that the reported individuals were not present.
Rogers’ harassment of the officers’ daughter included filing false allegations of abuse and fraud. On April 1, he accused the family of abusing the girl and claimed she was illegally attending Maplewood Elementary.
Investigation records note that the girl was enrolled in a completely different school and has never attended Maplewood. The next day, Rogers emailed school officials at Maplewood with similar claims, identifying himself as a teacher at Westchester Elementary School.
The original allegations prompted an investigation by the Department of Children and Families, which found no evidence to support Rogers’s claims. On April 7, the family was granted a temporary restraining order against Rogers.
Despite the restraining order, the harassment continued. On April 12, Rogers called police again with a noise complaint, alleging disturbances from the victims’ unit. Officers found the home unoccupied — the family was out of town at a hotel in Key West, which was confirmed by video and hotel receipts.
In addition to the false police reports, Rogers repeatedly contacted CSPD supervisors in person and by phone, attempting to tarnish the officer’s reputation with unsubstantiated claims of threats and misconduct. During several of those conversations, Rogers admitted he had no proof of the alleged threats and that his security camera failed to capture the interactions.
Officers note in the report that on multiple occasions, Rogers was violent and confrontational toward them, with one officer noting in the report that his behavior seemed substance-related.
Rogers was arrested and transported to the Broward County Main Jail. He was later released after posting a $10,000 bond.
