Registration is now open for the 2025–2026 season at Next Stop Broadway, the premier training center for young performers.
Running from September 8 through April, the eight-month program gives students from kindergarten through high school the chance to train like professionals while making lifelong friends and performing in Broadway-style productions.
This season offers something for every age group and interest. The Broadway Series is the cornerstone of the program, providing training in acting, singing, dance, and audition preparation. Students work under the guidance of industry professionals as they rehearse and perform a full-scale musical or one-act play.
Students in grades 4–7 will perform Disney’s Descendants, while those in grades eight and up will take the stage in Chicago: Teen Edition.
Another highlight is NSB Players, designed for students in grades six and above. This class blends acting techniques such as character development and ensemble skills with the exciting process of writing an original script. The program culminates in a fully staged one-act play created and performed by the ensemble.
Instructor Raquel Montesino said the class is a rewarding and unique experience.
“What I love most about working with NSB Players is being silly and vulnerable through acting techniques and discovering self-awareness as part of a whole and an individual,” Montesino said. “This class allows us to dive deeper into storytelling, character work, and teamwork, which makes the process of creating a one-act performance so rewarding.”
Next Stop Broadway also offers ensemble classes that encourage beginners to explore the arts and give seasoned performers the tools to advance their training. The program provides a supportive environment that helps each student discover their potential, according to organizers.
Tuition discounts are available for students who enroll in multiple classes. Registration requires only a $25 service fee and the first month’s tuition.
