Coral Springs Police Explorers to Recruit at J.P. Taravella Career Fair

Students interested in pursuing careers in law enforcement can learn more about the Coral Springs Police Department’s Police Explorer program at an upcoming college and career fair.

A representative from Police Explorers Post 276 will attend the J.P. Taravella High School College and Career Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The program is designed for young men and women ages 14 to 21 who are interested in law enforcement as a potential career. Applicants must have at least a 2.5 grade-point average.

The department is seeking applicants who have positive attitudes, good moral character, and a commitment to excellence. Candidates should also enjoy volunteering and helping their communities.
