Adults interested in learning to read Hebrew will have the opportunity to do so this summer during a six-week beginner course at the Chabad Jewish Center in Coral Springs.
The Hebrew Reading Course begins Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 7:30 p.m. and meets on six consecutive Tuesdays at the Chabad Jewish Center, 11325 W. Atlantic Blvd.
Designed for beginners, the course requires no prior Hebrew knowledge and is intended for those who want to read Hebrew independently, whether to follow along during synagogue services, deepen their connection to Jewish traditions or fulfill a longtime personal goal.
Participants will learn to recognize the Hebrew alphabet, understand vowel markings and develop the skills to read Hebrew texts with confidence by the end of the program.
The cost is $90 per person and includes a student workbook and practice book.
