The Fish Joint has introduced a delicious new addition to its menu: the Snow Crab Roll, now available at both locations.
“We had a lot of success with our Lobster Roll, and snow crab legs are extremely popular with our guests, so we decided to do a Snow Crab Roll,” said the owner, Brian Rifkin.
The Fish Joint chefs use 100% snow crab meat for the scrumptious sandwich, served hot in a brioche roll. Like the lobster roll, it comes with a choice of a side and hushpuppies for $19.95.
“I can say I have never seen this done before, or at least not anywhere local. Most customers do a double take when they first see it,” Rifkin said, adding that the Snow Crab Roll has been a featured special for the past two weeks, and the diners are raving about it.
Family-owned, The Fish Joint opened in Coconut Creek in 2020. It quickly became a local’s go-to for fresh seafood, setting itself apart from the traditional restaurants that serve shellfish and fish as a more affordable option. In 2022, Rifkin opened a Coral Springs location.
The Coral Springs location now serves beer and wine, while the Coconut Creek store still allows guests to BYOB.
Rifkin said Fish Joint offers a healthy alternative to fast food and traditional casual dining, and the guests love that they can get any fish cooked the way they want: grilled, blackened, jerked, or fried. Both locations have daily specials, so there is always something new to try.
