Coral Springs invites residents to don their favorite Hawaiian shirts and enjoy a night of island vibes as The Landsharks Band, a renowned Jimmy Buffett tribute act, headlines the city’s free outdoor Community Concert on Saturday, February 8.
The evening starts at 5 p.m. with the annual State of the City address, where important updates will be shared on the city’s progress. Residents can attend in person or watch live on CityTV.
Known for their authentic renditions of Jimmy Buffett’s hits, The Landsharks have performed alongside Buffett himself in Key West and at Margaritaville, where they became the official house band.
“There’s nothing more iconic than the laid-back vibes and island tunes that bring people together like Jimmy Buffett’s unforgettable hits,” said Mayor Scott Brook. “The Landsharks are known to put on a show, and I can’t wait to see them rock the Coral Springs airwaves as part of this free community event.”
Attendees can enjoy live music, dancing, food trucks, pop-up bars, and family-friendly activities, including arts and crafts, face painting, and roaming entertainment. Guests are encouraged to wear their best island attire to honor Buffett’s legacy.
Held at the City Hall Lawn at 9500 W. Sample Road.
Admission and parking are free, with parking available at the City Hall garage. Guests are encouraged to bring reusable cups at free filtered water stations, which is part of the city’s sustainability initiative. Food and drink from vendors are available for purchase.
