
Shannon Glynn {Coral Glades Golf}
The Coral Glades golf team continues to shine, highlighted by some incredible play from Bianca Gibbs and Shannon Glynn.
These two golfers recently placed in the top four of their most recent 18-hole tournament against talented schools, including American Heritage Delray, St. Thomas, Coral Springs Charter, and Cardinal Gibbons High School.
Gibbs finished in second place, shooting a 71 (-1) while Glynn was four shots back and placed fourth. These two golfers then went on to play another terrific round this week, with both girls shooting a 36 and tying for first place against Western High School and J.P. Taravella.
The boys’ team was led by Brayden Peeler, who shot a 39 to take first place. He missed all of last season with an injury and has shied this year, while Austin Passino came in second with a 40, followed by Isaac Shield, Cole Fisher, and Bradley Pryor in the top six. Nico Levy came in third for J.P. Taravella with a 41, and Mateo Delgado finished in tenth.
Next, both Coral Glades and J.P. Taravella will be in action along with Coral Springs Charter and Marjory Stoneman Douglas on Wednesday, October 1.
CSC recently competed against Marjory Stoneman, with Kolton Viveros shooting a 32 (-4) to take first place. Josh Buono was one under while Bento Asis shot a 46, and Joshua Flemming was one over. Edward Canard also competed and shot a 43. Josh Anderson finished in fifth for the Eagles, followed by Diego Femenias, Luke Munson, and Jack Barkin, all placing in the top nine.
