Prendergast began his high school career at Flagler University and struck out seven batters in 8.2 innings. He recorded a save last year with his new team against Bentley University before earning a win in relief against Felician University after tossing three innings and striking out four. He also stole 16 bases after being an All-District Player for Head Coach Charlie Fine at CSC.
Jeo Hernandez also played with Prendergast and Walters this year for Young College Harris University. He slashed 293/.453/.439 while also scoring nine runs.
