The City of Coral Springs is hosting a Housing Forum on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall.
The free event is designed to support first-time homebuyers, particularly essential workers such as teachers, nurses, police officers, and firefighters, by providing vital information and resources to navigate the often complex path to homeownership.
This forum will feature an in-depth discussion of homeownership programs, real estate trends, mortgage and lending options, and homeowners’ insurance.
Attendees will gain practical insight into the current housing market and learn how to prepare for the homebuying process, including how to qualify for down payment and closing cost assistance.
The panel will include several professionals with deep roots in the Coral Springs community and extensive experience in their respective fields. Joy Carter, a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty and former Coral Springs City Commissioner and Vice Mayor, brings four decades of real estate knowledge.
Ryan Patton, President of Capitol Lending Group, specializes in residential mortgages and has focused his efforts on serving first responders, teachers, and veterans.
Tracy-Ann Anthony, Neighborhood & Housing Manager for the City of Coral Springs, offers over 25 years of experience in public administration and community development.
Rounding out the panel is Dan Cioci Jr., a real estate insurance expert from Risk Strategies, who will provide valuable advice on navigating the current insurance landscape.
The Housing Forum will offer a chance for residents to ask questions, engage with industry experts, and receive materials to help them on their path to homeownership.
