The Trojans will have a week off before playing Cypress Bay School on Friday, October 10, at 7 p.m. The Lightning beat Marjory Stoneman Douglas and Stranahan High School already this year after winning six games a season ago. This will be the first meeting between these two teams since 2019, a 40-6 win for Cypress Bay.
Coral Springs High School dropped to 0-5 following a 40-0 loss against Piper High School on Friday. The Colts will once again look for their first win of the season on Friday, October 3, against Cypress Bay High School at 7 p.m.
Coral Glades’ two-game winning streak came to an end following a 21-0 loss against Spanish River Community High School on Friday. The Jaguars had previously beaten Stranahan and Coral Springs High School, but are 2-3 heading into their game against Hallandale High School on Monday, September 29. This game was scheduled for earlier this month, but postponed as the Chargers beat Fort Lauderdale and Northeast High School this year.
