Incidents
Retail Theft / Shoplifting
Home Depot, 750 N. University Drive: Merchandise valued at $1,199 was stolen on Dec. 8.
Target, 4400 N. State Road 7: Items valued at $158 were stolen on Dec. 8.
Best Buy, 650 N. University Drive: Retail theft totaling $3,094 occurred on Dec. 7 and was reported Dec. 8.
Target, 9600 Westview Drive: Items valued at $257 were stolen on Dec. 8.
Macy’s, 9129 W. Atlantic Blvd.: Retail theft totaling $1,470 was reported Dec. 9.
Home Depot, 750 N. University Drive: Grand theft of merchandise valued at $1,141 occurred on Dec. 9.
CVS Pharmacy, 3401 Coral Springs Drive: Items valued at $206 were stolen on Dec. 12.
Walmart, 6001 Coral Ridge Drive: Merchandise valued at $34 was stolen on Dec. 11.
BJ’s Wholesale, 620 Riverside Drive: Two separate retail thefts were reported Dec. 14, with losses of $392 and $3,499.
LensCrafters, 9129 W. Atlantic Blvd.: Retail theft totaling $3,420 was reported Dec. 14.
Dick’s Sporting Goods, 8921 W. Atlantic Blvd.: Retail theft totaling $250 occurred Dec. 14.
Theft / Burglary
Florida Panthers facility, 3299 Sportsplex Drive: Grand theft totaling $15,000 occurred between Dec. 7–9.
Wiles Road area: Grand theft totaling $610 was reported Dec. 9.
Eagle Trace Boulevard West: Grand theft totaling $1,500 was reported Dec. 12.
Coral Springs Drive: A vehicle was reported stolen between Dec. 11–12.
Wiles Road: Theft of auto parts valued at $10 was reported Dec. 12.
Coral Ridge Drive: Theft from an unlocked vehicle resulted in a $488 loss.
Fraud / Identity Theft
Coral Springs Drive: Fraudulent use of a credit card resulted in a $330 loss.
Multiple locations: Credit card fraud totaling $1,349 was reported Dec. 8.
Coral Springs: Wire fraud losses totaling $4,200 were reported Dec. 11.
Coral Springs: A long-term identity theft case dating back to 2022 was reported Dec. 12.
Coral Springs: Wire fraud totaling $18,330 was reported Dec. 13.
Battery / Assault / Domestic Incidents
Broken Woods Drive: Verbal harassment was reported Dec. 8.
NW 53rd Court: Domestic battery was reported Dec. 8.
Royal Palm Boulevard, Coral Springs Drive, Riverside Drive, and NW 88th Avenue: Multiple domestic battery incidents were reported throughout the week.
NW 44th Street and multiple undisclosed locations: Aggravated assaults were reported Dec. 10–12.
W. Sample Road: A shooting was reported early Dec. 11. No injuries were listed.
Ramblewood Drive, NW 45th Street, and N. University Drive: Domestic disturbances were reported.
Other Incidents
Multiple Baker Act commitments were reported across Coral Springs during the week.
Several suspicious incidents and “risk of harm” calls were logged throughout residential neighborhoods.
A medically attended death was reported Dec. 10.
An abandoned vehicle was reported Dec. 13.
Arrests
Michael Lee Moise, 42, was arrested Dec. 8 on a charge of driving with a suspended license (second offense).
Hixroy Orlando Scott, 25, was arrested Dec. 8 for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
Giavanna Sophia Lionelli, 18, was arrested Dec. 8 on a domestic battery charge.
Osmel Jose Silva, 55, was arrested Dec. 9 for grand theft between $751 and $5,000.
Devon Matthew Berke, 45, was arrested Dec. 9 for possession of MDMA.
Michael McKenzie Wiltshire, 32, was arrested Dec. 9 for domestic battery by strangulation.
Ligia Cristina Da Silva Mendonca, 34, was arrested Dec. 9 for DUI.
Himraj Dookeran, 64, was arrested Dec. 9 for grand theft.
Timothy Jerome Woods, 57, was arrested Dec. 10 for retail theft.
Jason Rodney Pierre, 20, was arrested Dec. 10 for possession of cannabis under 20 grams.
Seville Current, 42, was arrested Dec. 10 for felony retail theft with a prior conviction.
Keith Brian Blake, 53, was arrested Dec. 10 for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tyrese Malik Thompson, 24, was arrested Dec. 10 on a domestic battery charge.
Jose A. Amengual, 35, was arrested Dec. 10 for shoplifting.
Axel Felipe Gutierrez Rivera, 24, was arrested Dec. 11 on a capias warrant.
Jonathan M. Alonso Hernandez, 32, was arrested Dec. 11 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Michael Anthony Potts, 37, was arrested Dec. 12 for distributing cannabis.
Walford Lloyd Folkes, 32, was arrested Dec. 12 for resisting an officer without violence.
Maurice Dixon, 27, was arrested Dec. 12 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Jahbari R. John Charles, 25, was arrested Dec. 12 for obstructing an officer.
Carl Jerry Richardson Maximilien, 29, was arrested Dec. 12 on a domestic battery charge.
Reshaud Anthony Bowens, 33, was arrested Dec. 13 for obstructing an officer.
Sarah C. Kast, 22, was arrested Dec. 13 on a domestic battery charge.
Asha Joanne Harrynarine, 46, was arrested Dec. 13 on a felony capias warrant.
Sharlene Ramirez, 41, was arrested Dec. 13 on a domestic battery charge.
Kadmiel Etienne, 28, was arrested Dec. 14 for obstructing an officer.
Kton Black, 25, was arrested Dec. 14 for trespassing after warning.
