Coral Springs Crime Blotter: Man Arrested After $942K Fraud Reported on Ramblewood Drive

The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between December 22 and 28, 2025. Please note that the police have redacted the names of victims and addresses of most incidents.
Incidents
Grand Theft Auto: A vehicle was reported stolen overnight on Dec. 22 in Coral Springs. The theft was discovered the morning of Dec. 22.
Retail Theft: Police investigated multiple shoplifting incidents throughout the week, including a Dec. 22 retail theft with an estimated loss of $114 and felony retail thefts on Dec. 23 and Dec. 24 with losses exceeding $1,000.
Fraud: Several fraud cases were reported, including identity theft and forged instruments. Notably, a Dec. 26 fraud reported on Ramblewood Drive resulted in an estimated loss of $942,000, one of the largest losses of the week.
Burglary: Officers responded to multiple burglaries, including vehicle burglaries and a forced-entry residential burglary reported Dec. 23. Losses ranged from minimal to several thousand dollars.
Aggravated Assault: Multiple aggravated assault incidents were reported between Dec. 23 and Dec. 27. Victims sustained injuries, and investigations remain ongoing.
Domestic Incidents: Police handled numerous domestic disturbances and domestic battery cases throughout the week at residences across the city.
Sexual Offenses: Police documented multiple sexual offense reports, including sexual battery cases involving protected victims and a sexual cyberharassment complaint reported Dec. 28.
Narcotics Violations: Officers made contact related to narcotics violations on multiple occasions, including marijuana and cocaine-related incidents.
Fires: Coral Springs Fire Rescue and police responded to several fire incidents at residential locations between Dec. 26 and Dec. 28. No injuries were reported in the incidents.
Baker Act Cases: Numerous individuals were taken into protective custody under the Baker Act throughout the week due to mental health concerns.
Suspicious Incidents & Information Reports: Police responded to multiple suspicious activity calls and information-only reports across various neighborhoods.
Deaths: Officers investigated both medically attended and unattended deaths during the reporting period. No foul play was indicated in the initial reports.
Arrests
Jordan Marquees Thompson, 18, Coral Springs, was arrested Dec. 23 and charged with robbery (felony).
Stephen Bouzy Kavanaght, 47, was arrested Dec. 24 and charged with aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony (domestic).
Teneka Diamond Owens, 21, was arrested Dec. 24 and charged with possession of cannabis over 20 grams (felony).
Ethan D. Jean Louis, 22, was arrested Dec. 23 on a capias warrant.
Dolly Marie Ortiz, 53, was arrested Dec. 26 on a capias warrant.
Jone Stephen Ribeiro, 32, was arrested Dec. 28 and charged with retail theft (misdemeanor).
Juan Felipe Gonzalez, 40, was arrested Dec. 28 and charged with domestic battery.
Jessica Lynn Fulop, 48, was arrested Dec. 28 and charged with possession of cocaine (felony).
Marlon Mariano De Oliveira, 25, was arrested Dec. 28 and charged with DUI (first offense).
