The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between December 29 and January 4, 2026. Please note that the police have redacted the names of victims and addresses of most incidents.
Incidents
Lost Property: Reported at multiple locations, including Audi Coral Springs (5555 N. State Road 7), Honda Dealership (9400 W. Atlantic Blvd.), Turtle Creek Drive, and Atlantic Boulevard. Items were reported lost between Dec. 20 and Dec. 31.
Found Property: Property was turned in on Turtle Creek Drive and Royal Palm Boulevard on Dec. 31.
Petit Theft: A theft totaling $213 was reported in Coral Springs on Dec. 29.
Retail Theft:
Macy’s (9129 W. Atlantic Blvd.) reported a retail theft totaling $443 on Dec. 30.
Home Depot (750 N. University Drive) reported a theft totaling $1,035 on Dec. 31.
Walmart (3801 Turtle Creek Drive) reported a retail theft totaling $262 on Jan. 4.
Another retail theft reported at 34 Coral Springs Drive resulted in an estimated loss of $4,502.
Fraud:
Multiple fraud cases were reported throughout the week, with losses ranging from $1 to $7,200.
Credit card fraud cases included losses of $154 and $2,300.
An identity theft case reported Jan. 2 resulted in an estimated loss of $5,440.
Burglary:
A burglary of a residence (non-forced entry) was reported Dec. 29.
Several vehicle burglaries and thefts from vehicles were reported, with losses up to $400.
A burglary attempt involving a conveyance where nothing was stolen was reported Dec. 30.
Grand Theft:
Multiple grand thefts were reported with estimated losses ranging from $800 to $5,440.
A carjacking reported Jan. 1 resulted in an estimated loss of $32,000.
Criminal Mischief:
Property and vehicle damage incidents were reported with damages between $200 and $1,000.
Domestic Disturbances: Multiple domestic disturbance calls were reported throughout Coral Springs during the week.
Battery / Domestic Battery:
Several battery and domestic battery incidents were reported between Dec. 29 and Jan. 3.
One case involved domestic battery by strangulation, reported Dec. 31.
Aggravated Assault: Reported incidents occurred Dec. 30 and Jan. 4.
Weapons / Shooting Incidents:
A shooting was reported at a residence on NW 44th Court, with the incident reported Jan. 4.
A separate incident involving shooting into a building or vehicle was reported Jan. 1.
Animal Bites: Two separate animal bite incidents were reported on Dec. 30 and Dec. 31.
Baker Act: Numerous individuals were taken into custody under the Baker Act at locations across Coral Springs throughout the week.
Deaths:
Medically attended deaths were reported Dec. 29 and Jan. 4.
An unattended death was reported Jan. 4.
Missing / Recovered Persons:
An endangered missing person was reported Jan. 1 and later recovered Jan. 3.

Ahmad Lewis, 19 – Arrested Dec. 29 for capias arrest.
Vivian Celeste Lopez, 62 – Arrested Dec. 29 for battery.
Abigail Borja, 33 – Arrested Dec. 29 for domestic battery.
Jouxel Lukan Urquia Cajina, 22 – Arrested Dec. 29 for battery.
Naveen Saddi, 54 – Arrested Dec. 30 for capias arrest.
Beder Arevalo Villalobos, 48 – Arrested Dec. 30 for obstructing an officer without violence.
Eduardo Josue Gonzalez, 20 – Arrested Dec. 30 for battery on a law enforcement officer/firefighter (felony).
Reginald Earl Clinton, 33 – Arrested Dec. 30 for aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony (domestic).
Brycen Ja Tarrves White, 29 – Arrested Dec. 31 for capias arrest.
Ivan Havier Cintron, 45 – Arrested Dec. 31 for burglary of a structure/conveyance with intent to commit a felony.
David Mitchell Bercovicz, 43 – Arrested Dec. 31 for grand theft (retail theft $751–$5,000).
Kathia L. Rodriguez Lopez, 39 – Arrested Jan. 1 for domestic battery by strangulation (felony).
Tomas Cruz, 46 – Arrested Jan. 1 for domestic battery causing bodily harm.
Keondre Omarion Glasper, 22 – Arrested Jan. 2 for carjacking without a weapon (felony).
Wilhelm Alexander Burga, 56 – Arrested Jan. 3 for domestic battery.
Hayward Smith, 34 – Arrested Jan. 4 for petit theft (third or subsequent offense, felony).
