The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between July 13 and July 19, 2026. Please note that the police have redacted the names and addresses of victims in most incidents.
Incidents
Petit Theft: Property valued at approximately $130 was reported stolen on July 13.
Stalking: A stalking incident was reported shortly after midnight on July 13.
Grand Theft of a Firearm: A firearm valued at approximately $500 was reported stolen. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between June 17 and July 13.
Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card: A victim reported unauthorized credit card transactions totaling approximately $14,534.
Grand Theft: Property was reported stolen sometime between July 10 and July 13.
Sexual Battery: A sexual battery was reported July 14. The alleged incident occurred overnight between July 13 and July 14.
Missing Endangered Person: Police investigated the attempted disappearance of an endangered person after a report from West Atlantic Boulevard on July 14.
Grand Theft: Property valued at approximately $9,475 was reported stolen on July 14.
Shooting: Police investigated a shooting reported on July 14.
Attempted Grand Theft: An attempted grand theft involving property valued at approximately $2,139 was reported.
DUI: A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence near Coral Springs Drive on July 14.
Illegal Tracking Device: A victim reported the installation of a tracking device or tracking application.
Attempted First-Degree Murder: Police investigated an attempted first-degree murder reported on July 15. An arrest was later made in the case.
Aggravated Assault: A victim reported being threatened with a deadly weapon.
Business Burglary: A business was burglarized through a non-forced entry.
Written Threat to Kill or Cause Bodily Harm: Police investigated a written threat that included approximately $2,500 in reported losses.
Grand Theft: A victim reported approximately $23,000 in stolen property.
Residential Burglary: A home was burglarized through forced entry between July 15 and July 16.
Strong-Arm Robbery: A victim reported being robbed, with approximately $150 stolen.
Grand Theft Auto: A vehicle was reported stolen after disappearing sometime between June 10 and July 15.
Criminal Mischief: A residence sustained property damage estimated between $200 and $1,000.
Domestic Violence Injunction Violation: Police investigated a reported violation of a domestic violence injunction.
Battery on a Person 65 or Older: Police investigated a battery involving a victim age 65 or older.
Attempted Residential Burglary: An attempted burglary of a residence involving non-forced entry was reported.
Grand Theft: Property valued at approximately $1,000 was reported stolen.
Unattended Death: Police responded to the report of an unattended death on July 19.
Additional Sexual Battery: A second sexual battery investigation was reported July 19 involving an incident alleged to have occurred on July 16.
