The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between April 6 and April 12, 2026. Please note that the police have redacted the names and addresses of most victims in most incidents.
Incidents
Fraud: A victim reported fraud between April 6 at approximately 1:18 a.m. and 2:15 a.m.
Grand Theft: A theft totaling $3,347 was reported at a residence on Rothschild Drive.
Petit Theft: A theft totaling $20 occurred at a business on North University Drive.
Battery: A victim reported being intentionally struck on April 6.
Retail Theft: Merchandise valued at $838 was stolen from a store on North University Drive.
Identity Theft: A victim reported identity theft between March 30 and April 6.
Grand Theft Auto: Multiple vehicle thefts were reported throughout the city during this period.
DUI: Several DUI incidents were reported, including one in nearby Coconut Creek.
Shoplifting:
Nordstrom Rack – $14 loss
Walmart (multiple incidents) – losses ranging from $45 to $231
Additional retail thefts reported citywide
Shooting: A shooting incident was reported on Northwest 40th Street.
Burglary:
Business burglary (non-forced entry) on Northwest 124th Avenue
Multiple vehicle burglaries with losses up to $8,249
Aggravated Battery: A victim reported being seriously injured during an altercation.
Extortion/Blackmail: Attempted extortion incidents were reported on April 8 and April 10.
Grand Theft:
$20,000 theft reported on North University Drive
$16,000 theft reported on West Sample Road
Fraud:
$7,000 fraud reported on Coral Ridge Drive
Additional fraud case totaling $970
Credit Card Theft: A victim reported unauthorized use totaling $240.
Property Damage: Two incidents reported on Northwest 78th Way.
Criminal Mischief: Vehicle damage reported, causing between $200–$1,000 in losses.
Missing Endangered Person: Two cases reported during the week.
Risk of Harm: Multiple incidents reported across the city.
Domestic Battery: Several domestic-related incidents reported throughout the week.
Narcotics Violations: Multiple drug-related incidents, including possession and ordinance violations.
Baker Act: Numerous individuals were taken into custody under the Baker Act.
Suspicious Incidents / Disturbances: Multiple reports across Coral Springs.
Lost/Found Property: Several reports filed.

Zachery Emil Guice, 26 – Felony cannabis possession
