Walmart, 3801 Turtle Creek Dr, reported multiple shoplifting incidents:
March 24 at 4:22 p.m. | Loss: $180

March 28 at 7:31 p.m. | Loss: $186
March 30 at 10:50 a.m. | Loss: $28
March 30 between 10:20 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | Loss: $26
Target, 9600 Westview Dr, March 24 between 12:20 p.m. and 1:47 p.m. | Loss: $55
Publix, 6270 W Sample Rd, March 30 at 4:59 p.m. | Loss: $588
Other locations included retail thefts at:
22 N University Dr | March 26 at 4:51 p.m. | Loss: $152
6 Coral Ridge Dr | March 29 between 3:32–3:55 p.m. | Loss: $29
Fraud & Identity Theft:
Seven fraud-related incidents were reported, including a $6,000 loss on March 24 and a $4,363 loss on March 27.
A case of identity theft was reported on March 30.
Assaults & Batteries:
Several cases of aggravated and domestic battery:
March 24: Aggravated assault involving a deadly weapon, $268 in damages.
March 29: Domestic battery by strangulation.
March 30: Battery reported by victim Jose Manuel Barbosa Moreno.
Battery charges also stemmed from multiple domestic disturbances throughout the week.
Thefts & Burglaries:
Auto thefts: Two grand theft auto cases on March 24–25.
Burglary to vehicles: Reported March 25 and 26; one case included a $1,700 loss.
Burglary to residence: March 30, forced entry with $200 loss.
Bicycle thefts: March 25 ($600) and March 26 ($100).
Auto parts/accessories theft: March 26 | Loss: $500.
Petit thefts: Three incidents reported, including one with a $318 loss.
Drug & Alcohol Offenses:
Narcotics possession arrests on March 27 and 30.
Fentanyl possession arrest on March 30.
Open container violation on March 27.
DUI arrest on March 30 at Sawgrass Expressway.
Other Notable Reports:
Sexual battery: Reported March 30.
Extortion and blackmail: Two cases on March 24 and 25.
Criminal mischief: March 24 and 30 — both cases involved property damage under $1,000.
Unattended/medically attended deaths: Three cases reported during the week.
Multiple Baker Acts, civil matters, and suspicious incidents were also filed.
Arrests:
Shoplifting: Multiple individuals, including Brittany Zaretsky (Mar 24), Tyler King (Mar 27), and Anthony Knight (Mar 30), were charged.
Assault/Battery: Andres Gil Garcia (aggravated assault), Maria Rosario, Ryan Farrell, and others were charged in domestic-related incidents.
Drug offenses: Melina Martinez Sanchez (possession of fentanyl), Robert Brown (intent to sell cannabis).
Other arrests included obstruction, resisting without violence, loitering, probation violations, trespassing, false reporting, and capias arrests.
