Coral Springs Fraternal Order of Police is now accepting applications from high school seniors for their 2019 College Scholarship Program – and this year they are offering ten additional scholarships for Marjory Stoneman Douglas students.
Police Lodge 87, a non-profit organization comprised of law enforcement officers serving the city of Coral Springs, is offering several scholarships ranging from $500 – $1,000.
To apply for one of the ten scholarships for Marjory Stoneman Douglas students, applicants need to have maintained a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0, have been accepted to a college or university and have had no prior arrests or diversions. Students can live in either Coral Springs or Parkland.
For candidates of their regular scholarships, applicants must meet either one of the following criteria:
- Reside in Coral Springs
- Maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Accepted to a college or university
- Major in a Criminal Justice field
- No Prior Arrests
Or:
- Child/Grandchild of FOP Lodge 87 member
- Maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Accepted to a college or university
Candidates should complete and submit their application with a current copy of their high school transcript mailed to the following address:
