It’s been six days since our last update from the Florida Department of Health. When we last checked in, positive tested Covid-19 cases in Coral Springs were 817, since then, that number has gone up to 1,095, for an increase in 278 positive tested cases.

On July 6, there were 206,447 positive cases in the State of Florida, and on July 12, there are 269,811 total cases, for an increase of 63,364 people.

There have been 4,242 deaths reported deaths in the State. This is 464 more since July 6. In Broward County, there have been 464 deaths, which translates to 2 percent of all Broward County cases.

The average age of a resident to contract COVID-19 in Broward County is 37-years-old, down from 39 on July 6. These figures were verified on July 12, 2020, and reflect total positive tested cases.
