Coral Springs’ Kamp Kool. {City of Coral Springs}
By Sharon Aron Baron
The City of Coral Springs has announced the registration opening for its sought-after summer camp, Kamp Kool. The camp will begin for residents on March 18 at 8 a.m.
Designed to align with the Broward County Public School calendar, Kamp Kool offers a comprehensive five-week program starting June 24 and ending July 26, with an additional week available from July 29 to August 2.
Kamp Kool caters to students from 1st to 8th grade, providing a diverse range of activities tailored to various age groups, including arts and crafts, sports, swimming, field trips, and the much-anticipated “Color Wars” team competition.
The camp will take place at multiple locations, varying by time, age group, and date, such as Coral Glades High School, the Coral Springs Gymnasium, and Mullins Hall.
Both online and in-person registrations are available at the Coral Springs Gymnasium, located at 2501 Coral Springs Drive. Should spots remain, non-resident registration will open on April 1.
The city notes that program or location changes, including cancellations, may occur due to low enrollment or site availability.
