A mini orientation at Coral Springs Middle School is planned before students return for the 2021-2022 academic school year, and sixth graders new to the junior high experience are invited to attend.
Principal Sara La Rosa said the event is intended to help new students acclimate to the campus and meet their peers and school staff.
In addition to a curriculum overview, the Stallion Stampede includes a scavenger hunt, pizza for lunch, and a school spirit T-shirt. The stampede costs $15 to attend. Payments must be made online.
A Stallion pride “round up” presentation is available on the Coral Springs Middle School website that gives an overview of what being a stallion is all about; however, for an in-person tour, come to the event.
Space is limited, so try to request a registration form via email from Nicole Beaney before July 30.
Stallion Stampede is set for Tuesday, August 10, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The school is located at 10300 west Wiles Road.
