Coral Springs Weekly Crime Update for May 11

Through our joint effort with the Coral Springs Police Department to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Coral Springs from May 5 through May 11.

According to CSPD policy, they will not release information on open/active crimes. So if a crime isn’t reflected in this report, it was not released to the media.

Property Damage

A male, 29, was the victim of property damage at Walmart at 3801 Turtle Creek Drive on May 5.

A female, 69, was the victim of property damage at the 8500 block of NW 38th Drive in Village Green on May 7.

A male, 39, was the victim of property damage at the Coral Springs Fire Department at 300 Coral Ridge Drive on May 8.

Whole Body Dietitian Nutriiton Counseling

Property damage occurred at the 8100 block of NW 47th Drive in Whispering Woods on April 29 (Reported on May 9). No victims were listed.

A female, 59, was the victim of property damage at Lucky’s Market at 9184 Wiles Road on May 9.

Counterfeiting

Counterfeiting occurred at Paragon Theater at 770 Riverside Drive on May 5.

Petit Theft/Retail Theft

Petit theft occurred at Burlington Coat Factory at 6251 West Sample Road on May 6.

Shoplifting/retail theft occurred at Publix at 2201 North University Drive on May 8.

Robbery

A robbery occurred at J. P. Taravella High School at 10600 Riverside Drive on April 30 (Reported May 7).

Fire

A female, 51, was the victim of a fire at a Lakewood Village condo at the 10100 block of Twin Lakes Drive on May 7.

Obscene phone calls

A female, 46, was the victim of harassing/obscene calls at a condo in Portofino at the 11400 block of Lakeview Drive between May 9 and May 10.

Battery

A female, 39, was the victim of battery intentionally striking/touching another person against will at Publix Pharmacy at 5950 Coral Ridge Drive on May 9.

A female, 32, was the victim of battery intentionally striking/touching another person against will in Grenadier Lakes at the 11900 block of Royal Palm Blvd, between May 7 and May 9.

A male, 39, was the victim of battery intentionally striking/touching another person against will in the Commerce Park of Coral Springs at 12477 NW 44th Street, between February 27 and May 9 (Reported on May 9).

A female, 18, was the victim of battery intentionally striking/touching another person against will in Wyndham Lakes at the 11600 block of NW 54th Street on May 9.

A male, 64, was the victim of battery intentionally striking/touching another person against will in Forest Hills at the 2500 block of NW 89th Drive on May 9.

A female, 57, was the victim of battery intentionally striking/touching another person against will in Villa Bianca at 3990 Woodside Drive on May 11.

A male, 47, was the victim of battery intentionally striking/touching another person against will in Coral Springs Lakes at the 10200 block of NW 35th Street on May 11.

Arrests

Jonathan Andrew Tornincasa, 37, was arrested on charges of robbery with a firearm or deadly weapon at Walmart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive on May 5.

Brittany Michele Babchick, 30, was arrested on charges of petit theft at Walmart at 6001 Coral Ridge Drive on May 5.

Jeremy Adlai Fuller, 26, was arrested on charges of DUI alcohol or drugs at 3400 Rock Island Road/West Sample Road on May 5.

Oneal Tyrone Mason, 29, was arrested on charges of strong armed robbery at the Men’s Macy’s at 9129 West Atlantic Blvd on May 7.

Cherlyn Lynette Hampton, 54, was arrested on charges of battery on a Law Enforcement Officer (physical contact – touch) in Springs Park at the 3000 block of Coral Springs Drive on May 8.

John Anthony Neal Phillips, 19, was arrested on charges of possession with intent to sell Oxycodone at Kohl’s at 9001 West Atlantic Blvd on May 8.

Marilyn Davis, 58, was arrested on charges of shoplifting/retail theft at Publix at 2201 North University Drive on May 8.

Gregory Carl Dellinger, 33, was arrested on charges of violation of the injunction for protection against domestic violence in The Springs at the 11300 block of NW 21st Court on May 9.

Samuel Taray Roberts, 29, was arrested on charges of retail theft/felony retail theft at Macy’s at 9129 West Atlantic Blvd on May 9.

Erika Catiana Joseph, 23, was arrested on charges of shoplifting/petit theft at the Men’s Macy’s at 9129 West Atlantic Blvd on May 9.

Rose Marie Reinshuttle, 38, was arrested on charges of retail theft/felony retail theft at Kohl’s Department Store at 9001 West Atlantic Blvd on May 10.

Cyan Twayne Haughton, 18, was arrested on charges of petit theft at Coach at 9497 West Atlantic Blvd on May 11.

Andrew Garry Clark, 31, was arrested on charges of heroin: possession of heroin at the 4000 block of Riverside Drive on May 11.
