Coral Springs Youth Soccer will continue its upcoming fall recreation soccer season without any structural changes and plans to launch new summer training opportunities ahead of registration opening Aug. 1.
According to the organization, the soccer league will maintain the same format families have come to expect while introducing additional technical-skills training sessions to enhance player development.
League officials said the summer training sessions are expected to begin before the regular season, giving players an opportunity to stay active and improve their soccer skills during the offseason.
To kick off the summer season, Coral Springs Youth Soccer will host a community event on Saturday, June 6, from noon to 5 p.m. at Let’s Chill Homemade Ice Cream, located at 9739 W. Sample Road in Coral Springs.
The organization said that Let’s Chill will donate up to 15% of the event’s proceeds to support youth soccer programming.
The league also announced that updates and resources for volunteer coaches and corporate sponsors will be shared throughout the summer in preparation for the upcoming season.
Coral Springs Youth Soccer, known as CSYS, has operated for more than 53 years and provides recreation soccer programs for youth players in Coral Springs.
