At Wednesday night’s City Commission meeting, Vice Mayor Larry Vignola nominated Dan Daley to become the next Vice Mayor.
Vignola, whose term was up after serving as vice mayor for two years said, “I couldn’t think of anyone else I’d rather have as the next vice mayor.”
Voting unanimously along with Commissioners Cimaglia and Carter, Mayor Skip Campbell told Daley, “I believe very strongly you are the future and hope to see you in the legislature in Tallahassee.”
The vice mayor is responsible for leading workshops and commission meetings when the mayor is not present.
