E-Bike Rider Killed in Crash Involving Coral Springs Police Vehicle

Coral Springs Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a marked patrol vehicle and an e-bike rider late Friday night.
According to the Coral Springs Police Department, officers and the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department responded around 9:41 p.m. to a traffic crash near the 4300 block of Riverside Drive.
Arriving officers confirmed that a man riding an e-bike had collided with a marked Coral Springs Police Department vehicle, police said.
Officers immediately began rendering aid to the man, who was rushed by Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department personnel to Broward Health North, police said. He was later pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
