Easter Events Being Held at Coral Square Mall

Easter is a great time to bring the family shopping because Coral Square Mall will have a variety of activities to celebrate the holiday.

Starting on Saturday, March 14 through April 4 from 9-11 a.m. parents won’t want to miss the The Bunny Photo Experience in Center Court where kids will have the chance to visit with the Bunny and take home a treasured snapshot of the fun occasion. Parents can even save time and avoid the line with Bunny by Appointment by reserving their magical moment online at www.simon.noerrbunny.com.

“We love to hold family friendly events at Coral Square Mall and we always look forward to watching children interact with the Bunny at Easter,” said Xiomara Fraga, Director of Marketingat Coral Square Mall.

Coral Square Mall’s Caring Bunny event will offer families which have children with special needs a subdued environment to participate in the Bunny Photo Experience. Caring Bunny has been developed by Simon Property Group with promotional assistance for Caring Bunny has been provided by Autism Speaks.

On March 29 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in Center Court, many steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers, creating a more comforting environment for children’s visit with the Bunny. The subdued environment is likely to include (specific elements or aesthetics may vary):

Turning off in-mall music, stopping escalators located near the photo set, dimming the lights and shutting down fountains for the duration of the event.
Eliminating queue lines through the use of a numbering system whereby guests approach the set when their number is called.
Special activities geared toward the needs of the child during the ‘wait’ period to help the child understand what activities will occur during the visit.

The Simon Kidgits Club will also host a special Easter event on Saturday, April 4 from 9-11 a.m. in the Sears Court, where kids can participate in various Easter activities and games including an Easter Egg Hunt ‘Egg-stravaganza!’ Participants will also receive a special Easter keepsake to take home.
