Young entrepreneurs will take center stage in Coral Springs this weekend as the Acton Children’s Business Fair returns, offering kids a chance to launch and run their own businesses in a real-world setting.
The one-day marketplace is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Acton Academy North Broward, 1901 Coral Ridge Drive.
The event will feature approximately 28 youth-run businesses, with participants ages 5 to 16 creating products, developing brands, and selling directly to customers.
The fair is designed to give children hands-on experience in entrepreneurship by guiding them through the full process of starting a business, from idea generation and product development to marketing and sales.
Each participant is responsible for running their own booth, interacting with customers, and managing sales, while parents are encouraged to take a hands-off role to allow children to lead their ventures independently.
The fair is hosted by Acton Academy North Broward and supported by local sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Admission is free for attendees.
