The Coral Springs Police Department is preparing to host an event this weekend as part of a national initiative to foster stronger relationships between law enforcement and the community.
The Coral Springs Police Department is hosting a community barbecue this Sunday, October 13, as part of the Faith & Blue Weekend, a national event promoting connections between law enforcement and residents.
The free entry Faith & Blue BBQ will run from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Parkridge Church, located at 5600 Coral Ridge Drive.
The day will begin with a church service from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., followed by an opportunity to meet members of our Motors Unit, K9 Unit, SWAT Team, and more at 11:30 a.m
Refreshments will be available, as well as family-friendly entertainment for the little ones.
Faith & Blue Weekend aims to enhance trust and understanding between law enforcement agencies and the community, ultimately promoting public safety and justice.
