Coral Springs Shooting Claims One Life, Suspect Apprehended

Coral Springs authorities have reported one fatality and the arrest of a suspect in connection with a domestic shooting incident Monday evening.

The Coral Springs Police Department released a statement on Monday night saying its officers had apprehended a suspect responsible for a fatal domestic shooting near Coral Springs Drive and Royal Palm Boulevard.

The CSPD released details saying the shooting occurred at a residence near the 10700 block of Northwest 21st Street.

During the investigation, Coral Springs residents were urged to avoid the area near the incident site but stressed that the public was in no danger. 

The Coral Springs Police Department is expected to release further updates as more information becomes available. Coral Springs Talk will provide those updates upon release.
