The First United Methodist Church of Coral Springs will welcome the community for two free performances of “Sing Christmas,” a choral-and-orchestral retelling of the Christmas story composed by Joel Raney and Mary McDonald.
The church’s choir will present the program on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m., and again on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m., at “First Church,” located at 8650 W. Sample Road in Coral Springs.
While both performances are open to the public, the church is especially encouraging residents to attend the Thursday evening event, noting that the Sunday morning service traditionally draws a full crowd.
Designed as a joyful and uplifting celebration of the season, “Sing Christmas” blends stirring narration with powerful choral arrangements and orchestral accompaniment to share the Christmas story in a fresh, dynamic way.
Admission is free, and all ages are welcome. Additional information is available at welovefirst.church.
