A new pet care business has opened in Coral Springs.
Corey Collins moved Pet N’ Mind, a Coconut Creek store that sells high-quality pet food, and Bright N’ Shine to a new location at 8015 West Sample Road.
Pet N’Mind offers specialized pet food, including raw food. Collins said the products offered by his store do not contain the chemicals found in food sold in big box stores.
Bright N’ Shine provides dental hygiene for dogs and cats without anesthesia. Collins provides soothing restraint methods, including swaddling, to keep dogs and cats secure. He will come to pet owners’ homes to provide dental cleaning, or families can bring their pets to his office.
“Non-anesthetic dental care is ideal for pets who may not be candidates for anesthesia, senior pets, or pet parents seeking a more natural, lower-risk approach to maintaining their pet’s oral health,” said Collins.
Poor dental hygiene in pets can contribute to bad breath, gum disease, and tooth loss, and may impact overall wellness. Regular dental maintenance helps support heart, liver, and kidney health, according to Collins.
Collins is looking forward to building ties in Coral Springs. He wants to establish relationships with local schools, including Coral Springs Charter, so that students interested in caring for pets can work in his store. He also donates food to pet shelters.
Business hours for Pet N’ Mind are 10 a.m.to 6:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday. Bright’ N Shine runs the same hours except on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and it is closed on Sunday.
Bright N’ Shine can be reached at 561-930 9138.
