Awarded last springs: Privacy Glass Solutions.
The City of Coral Springs continues its annual tradition of honoring outstanding local businesses through the Business Excellence Awards. This program recognizes companies that significantly contribute to the city’s economic vitality and community well-being.
The awards, presented by the Coral Springs Economic Development Office, spotlight local enterprises that demonstrate strong business practices, community engagement, and a commitment to customer service. Eligibility for nomination requires that a business is located within the municipal boundaries of Coral Springs, properly registered with the city, and in good standing with all tax and licensing obligations.
Anyone, including residents, employees, and business owners, may nominate a company for an award by completing an online nomination form. Submitted nominations are reviewed by the city’s Economic Development Office to verify eligibility. A scoring panel evaluates eligible entries, and winners are selected based on criteria that include business performance, community impact, and service excellence.
Winners receive a commemorative award plaque and are formally recognized by the Mayor and City Commission at a regularly scheduled commission meeting. Their accomplishments are also highlighted in city publications, on social media platforms, and on the city website.
Award Categories
The program includes several distinct categories designed to highlight a variety of contributions:
- Large Company (50 or more employees)
- Small Company (under 50 employees)
- Company to Watch (rapidly growing business)
- Legacy Award (long-established business)
- Heart of the Community (philanthropic or community-focused)
- Commissioners Award (positive corporate culture and community engagement)
