Got what it takes to skate with the Panthers?
The National Hockey League team is holding auditions for its ROAR Corps for the 2021-22 hockey season on Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs.
ROAR Corps is the official “energy team” of the Florida Panthers. The co-ed, promotional squad skates during breaks and intermissions at Panther home games at BB&T Center, leading cheers and pumping up fans.
The team said ideal candidates include participants who are at least 18 years old with a background in cheerleading, dancing, or theater. Roles are available for individuals both with and without prior skating experience.
“ROAR Corps hopefuls should be prepared to make community appearances, attend watch parties, and spread Panthers pride throughout South Florida,” the team said in an announcement.
