For those in need of home goods and supplies, especially for personal care, Parkridge Church is holding a community distribution.
The event comes as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to ravage South Florida, and families need food and vital supplies, as the economic crisis continues.
At the distribution, items such as diapers, detergent, shampoo, razors, shaving cream, toiletries, hand soap, and more will be given out as long as supplies last.
Hosted by Parkridge Church, the event is also in partnership with Food for the Poor, the Cross United Church, and the Chinese Baptist Church of Coral Springs.
It will be a drive-thru distribution that will allow for social distancing taking place at Parkridge Church at 5600 Coral Ridge Drive on Saturday, August 22, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
