The Parkridge Pumpkin Patch
By: Sharon Aron Baron
Typically, pumpkins aren’t widely produced in Florida, but it’s always fun to pretend to find the perfect pumpkin to pluck from a local patch.
Parkridge Church wants you to pick up your pumpkins now until Halloween with proceeds going to a good cause: to help raise funds for their youth group mission trip each year. There’s pumpkins of every size and shape to buy and there’s even a selfie station to take a photo of you and your bestie.
Hours are:
Monday – Friday: 3 p.m. – dusk
Saturday and Sunday – 10 a.m. – dusk
Fall Festival on October 23rd 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with carving and pumpkin pie contest. Free event.
Trunk or Treat Monday, October 31 from 6- 8 p.m. Children go from car to car to get candy, play games etc. Free event.
