The Walk at Coral Springs is about to get a new restaurant popular for its delicious Mexican cuisine.
Salsa Fiesta, a homegrown restaurant success story, currently delighting diners in its Miami, Pembroke Pines, Aventura and Ft Lauderdale and has set their sights on Coral Springs, announcing the upcoming opening of Salsa Fiesta’s fifth outpost at The Walk at the end of June.
“It has been our longtime goal to expand the restaurant chain throughout South Florida,” said Cesar Olivo, CEO and Co-Founder of Salsa Fiesta. “We’re thrilled to open in Coral Springs and begin serving its community.”
The key to Salsa Fiesta’s success in Coral Springs will be same recipe that has made the concept’s reputation – high-quality and fresh ingredients, an unwavering commitment to outstanding customer service, acute attention to detail and expedited food preparation, serving customers in five minutes or less.
The menu at Salsa Fiesta runs the gamut. Stand-out lunch and dinner menu items include the “tortas,” an array of homemade Mexican griddled telera bread sandwiches such as the zocalo – grilled chicken, avocado, chipotle black beans, poblano rajas, Chihuahua cheese, creamy cilantro salsa and arugula served with freshly-made tortilla chips, Salsa Fiesta’s signature Hot Tamale salsa and an arugula side salad ($8.99); and Acapulco salad – roasted corn, pico de gallo and guacamole served over a bed of lettuce with creamy cilantro salsa and crispy tostones with a choice of chicken, beef, carintas or veggies ($8.99).
Happy Hour will also be offered Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., featuring drinks specials – $2.50 for all imported beer; $3.50 margaritas and sangria.
The ambiance in Salsa Fiesta Coral Springs boasts a vibrant, urban atmosphere, replete with colorful Aztec and Mayan-inspired murals and artwork. Featuring smooth concrete walls lined with reclaimed wood and exposed ceilings, the décor expresses an industrial, loft-like setting with dynamic metal chairs and all other items. The restaurant offers both indoor seating and an ample outdoor patio area perfect for sipping margaritas with friends at Happy Hour or enjoying a casual dinner. In addition to using reclaimed wood in their décor, Salsa Fiesta uses eco-friendly products. The restaurant will serve their dishes on organic bamboo plates which are non-toxic, melamine-free and biodegradable. In lieu of plastic forks and knives, Salsa Fiesta uses real silverware as well as reusable plastic cups which are not harmful to the environment. The dishware helps reduce waste in the environment and enhances customers’ overall dining experience.
The first Salsa Fiesta location opened in Miami in October 2009.
