J.P. Taravella High School welcomes incoming freshmen at its upcoming “Launching Into High School” orientation event.
The orientation takes place on Thursday, August 1, at the school located at 10600 Riverside Drive.
From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., students are invited to gather in the cafeteria to meet and greet their peers and learn more about what to expect in the upcoming school year.
Parents are also invited to attend a special 30-minute parent-staff meeting in the auditorium starting at 9:00 am. This session will give parents essential information about the school, its policies, and what to expect as their children transition to a new school.
The orientation fee is $20 per student, which covers lunch and a JPT shirt. Payments can be made online via the Broward Schools eStore at www.browardschools.com/taravella/estore.
